A promotional microsite for Georgia-Pacific’s line of fire-resistant gypsum board, ToughRock® Fireguard 45™. Given the mundane nature of the product, our team sought engagement through educational interactivity and playful, but purposeful, iconography.&#38;nbsp;Users are presented with a series of checklist questions to assure fire-safety in their home. As they progress, the custom-gridded iconography is paired with a simple  scroll-trigger to create an overlapping yet seamless transition from question to question. Accented with custom responses depending on your answer, the result is a delightfully interactive experience for what may be the&#38;nbsp; banalest of products—drywall.&#38;nbsp;

Vinyl edition of Secret Pyramid’s ‘Embers’ released by Geographic North in October 2020. The design relies heavily  on the&#38;nbsp;high-contrast street imagery of Japanese photographer Yamaski Ko-Ji. The noir-tinged snapshots paired with bold, warped typography evokes a vague cinematic narrative, complimenting the music’s serene, wide lens ambiance.&#38;nbsp;

Responsive website for PVH Corp., a global apparel holding company that owns and distributes brands such as Van Heusen, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, IZOD, and Arrow, among others. Given the brands’ longstanding cultural impact, PVH sought a web presence that would reflect that collective grandeur.&#38;nbsp;
Our team reenvisioned their corporate site into an elegant pedestal for their labels, emphasizing and compartmentalizing each brand’s eclectic photography and voice, creating a mosaic of their diverse company culture.&#38;nbsp;

Logo and visual identity for MOCA GA, an Atlanta-based museum, spotlighting works from Georgian artists in painting, print, sculpture, and photography. Although the initial request was a new online platform to emphasize MOCA’s leadership in Southern contemporary arts properly, our team saw an opportunity to refresh their core logo and brand.
Through extensive research and time spent with the MOCA team, we routed their brand image closer to a provocative ‘edge,’ where so many of their artists and work already resided. The result is an expressive system based around bold typography with an image bar disrupting the words. The customized typeface, engineered for a perfect balance of legibility and art, allowed the MOCA staff to  take the brand’s reigns and effortlessly apply it across mediums.&#38;nbsp;

24” x 36” offset-printed poster for Dublab’s 17th Anniversary celebration with performances and DJ sets by Egyptian Lover, Peanut Butter Wolf, and Gilles Peterson, among others.
Dublab is a Los Angeles-based non-profit radio station that has been broadcasting since 1999. Additionally, they organize original art exhibits, films, events, and educational programs related to health, youth, development, education, and creative processes.
The poster’s simple, playful forms and bright primary colors reflect the organization’s platform for discovery and the cultivation of next-wave music, arts, and culture.&#38;nbsp;

	Dash 2020 Annual Report

Perfect-bound, 74-page annual report for arts Co Op, Dash. The organization collaborates with governments, cultural institutions, brands, agencies, developers, and the public to invigorate non-traditional spaces with design and experiential art.


Adorned with a rather unsubtle, yet hypnotic holographic cover stock, the book utilizes the company’s lush photography of their 2020 nationwide installations, and juxtaposed with an exposed, rigid-grid system creating a rich blend of color and typography that remains flexible and consistent throughout. The cropped, oversized page and section numbers mimic the split 2020 treatment of the cover—a disjointed and claustrophobic nod to one of the longest years of our lives. &#38;nbsp;

Geographic North is an Atlanta-based record label that releases small batch experimental music in vinyl and cassette formats. This series, catalog numbers GN48 thru GN50, includes releases by Rafael Anton Irissari, Felicia Atkinson, and Nick Malkin.
Each cassette in this series includes a three-piece die-cut sleeve adorned with the artist’s name and catalog number, creating a unique overlap of typography and hard-edge color.

&#38;nbsp;
Balance is a Chattanooga-based yoga and arts studio, serving children and families. The studio’s mission is to find harmony in all facets of life, including body and mind. Although launching in 2013, the studio has since closed their physical space, opting to serve schools on-site in the Chattanooga metro area.

The wordmark embodies the studio’s name and aim. A stacked ‘Balance’ harmoniously and enthusiastically sits atop a circle, which can be interpreted as a yoga ball, or an exclamation point. The word’s segmented structure creates energy and motion, while the brand’s primary colors serve a family-friendly tone.

Vinyl, CD, and various promotional design for Algiers’ third full-length album ‘There is No Year.’ Being familiar with the band’s music, I sought to subvert the cold, isolationist imagery synonymous with their brand of austere, gospel-driven post-punk in favor of a more widescreen presentation.
   Having originally seen the ‘falling man’ photograph appropriated by artist Sarah Charlesworth, the capture of a suspended moment between life and death seemed like the perfect foil for the album’s artwork. The image, paired with an endless string of sentences courtesy of a sprawling poem by Algiers frontman Franklin Fisher creates a balancing act between harmony and dread, aligning with the music’s disillusioned undertones.&#38;nbsp;The album’s artwork spawned a visual language used across a variety of materials, including merchandising and slates for promotional videos. Multiple editions exist with differing vinyl colors, as well as a&#38;nbsp;‘Dinked’ edition utilizing mirror-board, and an inverse-colored inner sleeve.
