Farbod Kokabi is a designer, artist, and director living and working in San Francisco, CA.

I advocate for solutions that are bold, direct, and disciplined, following the rational principles of modernist design while retaining the evocative spirit of counter-culture and the abstract. My work spans printed-matter to digital experiences for a range of clients, including cultural arts brands, nonprofit organizations, and global enterprise companies.

In 2008 I cofounded Geographic North, an experimental music label creating and releasing small-batch vinyl records and cassettes by internationally renowned artists.
