Official promotional site for Sofia Coppola’s ‘The Bling Ring’ starring Emma Watson. The film examines themes of privilege, vanity, and consumerism through a morally ambiguous lens.
The site conceptually mirrors these themes by allowing users to “shop” for the wardrobes and accessories appearing in the film. However, when a user attempts to buy an item, their purchase price is deemed “free” and leads to various quotes from the film justifying one’s temptations to simply steal the item.
